You are cordially invited to participate in the 2009 Energy Conversion Congress and Expo (ECCE 2009) scheduled for September 20-24, 2009 at the Double Tree Hotel in sunny San Jose, CA, USA. ECCE 2009 combines two of the most successful international conference programs – IEEE Power Electronics Specialists Conference and the Industrial Power Conversion Systems Department of the IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Conference, into one significant conference and exposition with a focus on energy conversion, efficiency, and sustainability. This annual conference will provide the premier venue for showcasing new technologies, concepts, and applications covering all aspects of energy conversion; and will offer industry participants the opportunity to connect with their customers, vendors, and with other researchers in the community. ECCE will also provide a neutral venue for industry-wide standards activity that can accelerate the development of new emerging energy related products and markets. Participants include companies and individuals engaged in the research, development, manufacturing, support, application, and education in the energy conversion, efficiency, and sustainability areas. Over 1,000 technical papers, from both academia and industry, will be presented at this global conference, providing exposure on new trends and new technology opportunities. The industrial exhibition is focused on traditional topics in energy conversion, power electronics, motors, and motor drives, as well as newer areas such as energy savings and efficiency, renewable energy, distributed generation, energy storage, grid control, and impact of carbon constrained operation on energy conversion technologies. In addition, ECCE will provide a unique forum for participating industry sponsors to hold seminars for potential customers, and to invite them to attend the exhibition. Tutorials that familiarize industry practitioners with the current state of the art will provide further opportunities to support company and employee goals. The conference program is organized to maximize the interaction between attendees and the exhibitors. Due to space constraints, there is a strict limit on the number of industrial exhibitors that can be accomodated. Please contact Courtesy Associates at eece@courtesyassoc.com to reserve space for your participation in this new and exciting event.
