Welcome to IEEE ECCE 2009 !

The inaugural IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE) will be held in San Jose, California, USA, September 20-24, 2009. Energy Conversion Congress & Expo (ECCE) will provide a forum for the exchange of information among practicing professionals in the energy conversion business. The emphasis is to bring together the users and researchers of energy conversion systems and sub systems with emphasis on the technical content of the papers and on the quality of the exposition. The scope of the conference include all technical aspects of the design, manufacture, application and marketing of devices, circuits, and systems related to electrical energy conversion technology

Several prominent plenary speakers will provide an overview of the issues faced by the energy conversion industry. The focus of the tutorial sessions will be on providing solutions to problems faced by the industry. Three rap sessions will provide opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas on several vital topics. The exposition will showcase new technologies, concepts, and applications covering all aspects of energy conversion. Industrial seminars will address specific problems from various aspects of energy conversion systems, subsystems and components.

At IEEE ECCE 2009, we will honor several of our colleagues who have made significant contributions to the energy conversion technologies at the award ceremony.

In addition, several industrial tours, social tours and social events are planned.
